Travelling by Car to Croydon Conference Centre

If you are tavelling by car, please note that there is limited access to the front of the Conference Centre during Monday to Saturdays. The conference Centre is located in Central Croydon and is a short distance from the M25 and M23.

Croydon is sign posted on all major routes. Once in Croydon, we recommend using QPARK (Surrey St, Car Park) multi story car park which is located behind the Conference Centre and is marked on the map

Entrance to the QPark is via Scarbrook Road off the High Street. At the end of the road, turn right into Charles Street and follow the road round and the entrance/exit is sign posted. On foot, exit the car park at the main ticket office and walk upto Surrey Street. Turn right and we are located on the right hand side.

The Conference Centre will be able to offer a discount voucher for you to use which is available from our reception on your arrival.

Travelling by Train to Croydon Conference Centre

bullet   Travelling by Train (East Croydon)

East Croydon is the nearest mainline train station to the Conference Centre. There are frequent trains to and from London Bridge, London Victoria, Clapham Junction, Gatwick Airport and the South Coast. From East Croydon, you can either take the tram one stop to George Street or it is about a ten minute walk. When you exit out of East Croydon, turn right and walk down George Street into the centre of Croydon. At the end of George Street, follow the tram track into Church Street and turn left into Surrey Street. Walk along Surrey Street under the footbridge and the conference centre is to your right.

bullet   Travelling by Train (West Croydon)

West Croydon station is also close to Croydon Conference Centre. There are trains direct from London Bridge through to Wallington, Waddon and Crystal Palace. When you exit the station, turn left and walk through North End shopping area. This will take you about 5-10 minutes. You will come past Allders, primark and a large branch of Barclays. You need to turn right at this point into church street. On the left, you will come to Surrey street which during Monday's to Saturday's has an open market. Walk along Surrey street under the footbridge and the conference centre is to your right.

Travelling by Bus to Croydon Conference Centre

Croydon Conference Centre is a short distance away from bus stops for most of the routes which travel into Central Croydon from all directions including Bromley, Coulsdon, Purley, Streatham and Brixton. These include:

  • 60 - Streatham to Old Coulsdon via Croydon
  • 75 - Croydon to Lewisham Docklands
  • 119 - Purley Way (Colonades) to Bromley via Croydon
  • 154 - Croydon to Morden via Sutton
  • 250 - Croydon to Brixton via Streatham
  • 264 - Croydon to Tooting via Mitcham
  • 403 - Croydon to Warlingham via Sanderstead
  • 407 - Caterham to Sutton via Croydon
  • 412 - Croydon to Purley via Selsdon
  • 466 - Addington village to Coulsdon via Croydon

Travelling by Overground (West Croydon) to Croydon Conference Centre

The New Overground trains now stop at West Croydon which is about a ten minute walk from the Conference Centre. On arrival at West Croydon, Turn left and follow the main road which is for pedestrians only past the main shops. At the opposite end of the shopping pricinct, turn right into Church Street and then left into Surrey Street. The Conference centre is on the right hand side after the foot bridge.

Travelling by Tram to Croydon Conference Centre

Croydon Conference Centre is very close to George Street tram stop. Trams operate frquently between 7 minutes peak time to 15 minutes in evenings and weekends.

Elmers End, Beckenham & New Addington Trams

If you are travelling from Beckenham Junction, Elmers End or New Addington via East Croydon, you need to alight at George Street tram stop. Follow the road down (same direction as the tram) into Church Street and turn left into Surrey Street. The Conference Centre is located just after the footbridge on the right hand side.

Wimbeldon, Mitcham & Morden Trams

If you are travelling on trams from these stations, you need to alight at Reeves Corner and walk up Church Street. You will pass trams travelling in the opposite direction. After the traffic lights, turn into Surrey Street on your right and walk down towards to go under the footbridge. The Conference Centre is on your left.

Car Parking

Q ParkCroydon Conference Centre has partnered with Qparks who manage an award winning 24 hour multi-story car park located only 50 yards away. The car park is open 24 hours and day and has won awards for being very safe. Discounted parking is available at Surrey Street Car Park to all our guests.

Hotel Rooms

Holiday Inn ExpressCroydon Conference Centre has partnered with Holiday Inn Express, Croydon which is located a very short walk away. Special discounted rates are available at the hotel for those who book directly via a special link which we will pass onto you if required once you have confirmed your event.

Banks and Building Societies

banksCroydon Conference Centre is located within 5-10 minutes walk from near most major high street banks and building societies including Natwest, Barclays, Santander, Metro, Halifax and HSBC. There are also many cash points very near to the centre, all in walking distance.

Health Services

HealthOur nearest Hospital and 24 hour emergency centre is Croydon University Hospital (formally known as Mayday Hospital) and is located about 15-20 minute drive from the conference centre. Within walking distance there is a NHS medical center with a pharmacy.

Retail Outlets

RetailCroydon Conference Centre is located near most major high street retail outlets including Alders, Primark, TK Maxx, House of Fraser, Next and many more. A short distance away by tram or car, we have some major outlets including IKEA, PC World, Curry's and John Lewis at home.
